Chapter 231 Teaser

Although the blood-colored Eagle Virtuous Phantasms couldn’t talk, they could still understand Zhao Hai’s words. As such, it took Zhao Hai a few days to teach them simple ways to pass him information like changing their posture in flight and through the sounds they made.

As if following a flight ratio, executing several spins in the air would tell the number of people while a few cries it would report the number of cavalrymen, and so on. In the end, these blood-colored Eagle Virtuous Phantasms could now act as the simplest of airborne scouts.

Zhao Hai carefully watched the blood eagle until it flew away, then turned to Laura and said, “The eastern area has a situation. There’s a thousand cavalrymen approaching us, and they aren’t beastfolk.”

why would you ever need to have your eagles relay information to you by cawing and changing formation? you have a freaking minimap, and a sprite that monitors it 24/7.

ohhh, it’s that lv 9s in the swap thing again, isn’t it? you are an idiot

The eagles could fly further than the minimap.. and minimap doesn’t show places where Zhao hai hasn’t gone to yet.

but it shows wherever his farm animals go. right? That is why they didn’t need to be outside when they where scouting the swamp, surly?

Nope, the camera can only follows Zhao hai, the staff and the teleport point. Back in the swamp, Zhao left his staff outside with the eagle.
